Where Opportunity Knox, a regional initiative to connect transitioning Veterans and/or military spouses to jobs and the Greater Louisville Region, is pleased to partner with BAE Systems to host an informative tour of their Louisville facility on Friday, May 11 from 10:00am – 2:00pm ET. This Employer Showcase event is open to Where Opportunity Knox clients, transitioning Veterans, family members, Veteran higher education students, and partners. In addition, based upon the amount of interest, BAE Systems will generously provide bus transportation from Fort Campbell to allow additional transitioning Veterans to attend this important event.
Employer Showcases have proven to be an impactful way for transitioning military personnel to get a firsthand understanding of what it’s like to work at some of our region’s great companies. Join Where Opportunity Knox to meet key managers at BAE Systems, learn more about the defense industry and tour the facility. Veterans can experience a day in the life of the civilian workforce and gain a better understanding of BAE Systems’ work environment and culture.
BAE Systems is proud to provide solutions and services that advance the strength and security of America and our allies – and is honored to offer an environment where Veterans and Reservists can continue doing mission-centered work.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Linda Larson at Linda@WhereOpportunityKnox.com.
Where Opportunity Knox is funded through the generous support of the Cumberlands Workforce Development Area, the Duke Energy Foundation, the Gheens Foundation, the James Graham Brown Foundation, the Lincoln Trail Workforce Development Board, and the Ogle Foundation.
