Seeking self-motivated professional to educate, sell, and schedule volunteer blood drives at local businesses and organizations within a 12-county region in Southern Kentucky. This position is based in Somerset, Kentucky and the counties to be serviced currently include Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Knox, Laurel, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne, and Whitley.
The Account Manager is expected to meet a monthly donor recruitment goal by scheduling mobile blood drives and organizing blood donor recruitment campaigns; executing strategies to attract and retain potential blood donors; and communicating with volunteer donor group coordinators to ensure successful blood drives. Recruitment activities cover a broad range of functions including sales, service and public speaking.
Candidate must be energetic, self-motivated, and professional with proven sales ability, exemplary customer service skills, and ability to excel in a results-oriented work environment. Knowledge of group dynamics, customer maintenance techniques, and negotiation skills required.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or related experience (sales/marketing experience preferred). Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process. Must have excellent public speaking skills; be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; and have the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects and events. Flexible hours required including occasional evenings and weekends.
Competitive salary with bonus incentives based on assigned goal. Candidate must provide own reliable vehicle, have a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record for travel within region. Mileage reimbursement provided.
